McDonnell and Bolling; Neo-Statists?

In this WaPo article, McDonnell, Bolling, Cuccinelli, and Pat Mullins all call for Catherine Crabill to step aside as the Republican nominee for House of Delegates and publicly disavow her because she committed the extraordinary sin of stating that we must "fight this war at the ballot box so we don't have to resort to the bullet box".

First, she's right, without a doubt;
Secondly, if you read her actual remarks (in the link prvoided in the Wapo story) she advocates fighting the war (political war is the context of her remarks), to AVOID be forced to resort to the bullets.

I remind Bob and Bill that Patrick Henry actually advocated the violent use of bullets to break from despotic, imperial government just 250 short years ago, and was reviled as a lunatic radical, just as Crabill is now being assaulted by those in her own party who should be the first to understand liberty and tyranny.
Crabill has not gone nearly as far as Patrick Henry did, yet they rush out to abuse her.

Now, a Statist is one who believes in the supremacy of the State and it's right to control all aspects of the life of the indivdual; the Neo-Statist is he or she who goes along with the Statist at least to some degree, and who subscribes to at least a significant portion of the radical view of the Statist, or are willing to overlook it for their own political purposes.
The Statist and Neo-version are in direct opposition to the Declaration of Independence, which I quote below;

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security. --Such has been the patient sufferance of these colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former systems of government. The history of the present King of Great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute tyranny over these states. To prove this, let facts be submitted to a candid world.

I want to tackle two issues here;
First, the tendency of McDonnell and Bolling to, at the very least, defer and acquiesce to the Statists currently in charge of the nation, and of both major political parties.

Both men supported MANDATORY vaccinations against a non-epidemic disease (HPV) for ALL Virginia school girls twelve years and older in order to enter school (HB2035).
This flies in the face of parental rights and the American value of individual liberty.
This provision is also in Obamacare; Sorry, Barak; Bob and Bill beat you to it.

We are all upset about Cap and Trade, and we should be.
Sadly B and B also beat Obama to the punch on skyrocketing taxation.
They supported, and Bob defended in VA Supreme Court HB 3202, which established Regional Transportation Authorities, UNELECTED bodies with the power to LEVY TAXES!!
This was ruled unconstitutional, as taxation without representation, by the VA Supremes, thanks to Bob Marshalll and Pat McSweeney who challenged the constitutionality in court.

McDonnell's job as AG was NOT to defend Republican legislation; His job was to defend Virginia's constitution, and he was derelict in his duty in defending this egregious legislation.
Bolling also supported it.
Even Obama has not yet directly advocated and defended taxation without representation.
And these guys are supposed to be our fearless conservative leaders!!

Both men supported former governor and Council on Foreign Relations Board member Jim Gilmore for the Republican nomination for US Senate, over Delegate Bob Marshall, the most conservative member of the House;
A little background on the CFR will reveal that they are one of the most anti-American institutions in the world, yet Bob and Bill again err on the side of the Statist.

McDonnell led the coup against conservative RPV Chairman Jeff Frederick, using 10 charges all proven to be false, at the State Central Committee meeting where the coup resulted in the libelous overthrow of Frederick from office;
He was elected by Republican delegates and removed by elite powerbrokers in the party, who were unconcerned with fact, not letting it stand in the way of McDonnell's desires.

Why, one might ask, did Bob want Frederick gone so badly that he would actually overturn the will of appx 60% of nearly 4,000 Republican grassroots delegates who elected Frederick at the 2008 Convention, and launch an assault against one of the most basic American values, the right to free and fair elections and to choose our own leaders?

The answer was given by one of McDonnell's staffers to a Republican County Unit Chairman;
He remarked "what Bob wants in an RPV Chairman is a lapdog and a doormat".
Herein lies the answer to the question psed above; Frederick was neither.

McDonnell is a weak man, controlled by people like Bush Mafia member Ed Gillespie, who hate the true conservatives that make up the only legitimate base of the same Republican Party that continues to abuse and cast to the curb the only people that can deliver victory to Republican candidates.
They prefer the new Republican; the Republican that verbally assaults the left-wing agenda of Barak Obama or the socialist agenda of George Bush, while actually doing mostly what the Statists want behind the scenes, and eschewing it publicly to keep their Christian Conservative base in line and on the plantation

I give you two conflicting views of the 2009 Republican;
The McDonnell/Bolling neo-Statist view that limited government and individual freedom are great concepts, but can be traded when "necessary" for political advancement, leaving the door wide open for subtle, but eventual government takeover of the life of the individual;
This Republican will seldom stand up to the Statist or sacrifice his own interests for the sake of Constitutional principle thus rendering the people helpless and foolish to trust any political party to protect their freedom.
This Republican views his role as that of insuring his own interests and secondarily the interests of his political party as paramount to anything else, viewing the primary purpose of government as being to deliver the very best and most government possible as to be able to sell the voter on the politician's ability to govern their lives in a more acceptable manner than that of the outright Statist.

The other viewof the 2009 Republican is that of Catherine Crabill, Patrick Henry, George Washington, and far less importantly, ME!!
Our view of the primary purpose of government is to insure law and order, and to protect the freedom of the individual to utilize and enjoy the blessings of liberty, and the Divine rights granted to him by God.
We understand that our Constitution is designed first and foremost to protect us from our own leaders run amok of their desire for personal power, fortune and advancement.
We believe that the best government is the least government and that the primary purpose for seeking political office should be to serve the people by insuring that government functions as the Constitution mandates, and that alone.

We never believe in sacrificing constitutional principle for political advancement, or trading freedom for possessions or political power.
We understand, unlike Bob and Bill, that if the Republican party leaders refuse to stand up for personal freedom in real, meaningful way, refusing to compromise the Constitution, then not only are they NOT Republicans, as defined by the Creed to which they swear adherence upon joining the party, but that they are not worthy of the vote or support of freedom-loving citizens, who understand that it is our place, right and duty to govern ourselves, not farm it out to greedy politicians.
We believe that the only thing that gives the Republican Party any right to expect support from patriots is a dedicated defense of, adherence to, and articulation of the principles of the Constitutions of the United States and those of all 50 States.
By the way, the Republican Creed itself calls out politicians like McDonnell and Bolling as imposters, not Republicans, as defined by the Creed.

There was a time in our history when the word 'Republican' was used, it automatically was equated with 'conservative'; No more!
Sadly, the Bush family has contributed to the destruction of Reagan's once-great party and rendered it worse than meaningless, as it wanders aimlessly through the political waters, trying to convince Americans that more government is just fine as long as it is done "properly", and steered by Republicans instead of Democrats.

Folks, Neo-Statists like McDonnell and Bolling spout conservative rhetoric, hoping to convince you that they believe what we do, all the while doing everything they can to move this nation and the Republican party "to the center", and hide from the true conservative what they are really doing.
While people like George Allen (hate crimes protection for homosexuals), Bob McDonnell (taxation without representation), and Bill Bolling (usurpation of your right to oversee the healthcare of your 12 year old daughter), run around out there spouting all the right rhetoric, and telling you to support them because they are "better than the Democrats", which may be true, people like Catherine Crabill are adhering to Patrick Henry-style patriotism, instead of constantly comparing themselves to Socialist Democrats, giving that as reason to vote for them, being assaulted all the while by the same political party that claims to be the protector of the Constitution and the Arbitor of Freedom.

McDonnell and Bolling want you to compare them to the Democrats;
Catherine Crabill prefers to be compared to Patrick Henry.

Like Rush Limbaugh, I am through carrying water for fake conservatives and willing Neo-Statists in the Republican Party, and I no longer care "how much worse" the Democrat is;
Both major parties as they currently are behaving will lead this nation to it's eventual death, if we the people do not rise up and put a stop to it.
The only way to do that, is to ensure they lose elections if they do not listen us, and that goes for Republicans too.
I don't care if the Republicans will ensure a slower demise; No demise is OK with me!!. I want to return to Constitutional government, and to regain the freedom lost since Roosevelt's assaults on it.
Go Catherine!!

Tim, I fully agree your views about: Catherine to whom I can personally atest and vouch for her sincerity and honesty; Patrick Henry a GREAT and real patriot; I also believe that the Democrat-socialist-communists party is anti-American(no kidding here - just follow the connections) and the weak-kneed-Republicrats.

The Republican party has abandoned the CONSERVATIVE MOVEMENT and only carries its tattered flag when convenient or politically expedient.

We, Conservativs, have lost the public school system, both houses of government and the White House. Now we are losing our freedoms. It is time to act.

We must return the favor to the Republica party by joining the Party with the Platform that reflects our views.

That is the Constitution Party.

We should all pray that more people like Catherine will be willing to accept the abuse and ridicule that is heaped upon the protectors of our heritage.
